# RPKI Route Origin Validation Preview

## Getting started

This tool provides the ability to check the validation state that a route
would receive based on the data from Workonline's RPKI validation caches.

To begin, input the origin ASN and prefix of a hypothetical route announcement.

The tool will query the Workonline validation caches for validated ROA
payloads containing a covering prefix, and computed the expected validation
state that the route would receive when announced to AS37271.

For additional information on RPKI-based route origin validation, please refer
to RFC6811[^rfc6811].
